Interactive Bicycle Card | Spellbinders | Make A Scene Collection by Becca Feeken

Welcome! I have some fabulous new interactive die sets from Spellbinders to show you today. They are called Make A Scene Cards from the Becca Feeken collection. This type of card has a Wow! factor to it. It fits into an A7 envelope, but when you pull it out, it opens up into a beautiful 3D card. There are six different scenery sets in this collection; I’m using the set called Rolling Along Bicycle Scene. However, it all begins with the Make A Scene Card Base set. You’ll also want the Make A Scene Sentiment Stamp set which includes a lot of beautiful sentiments.

My video below walks you through putting one of these fabulous cards together. Once you learn how to make up a card, you’ll learn how easy and fun these cards are to create!

Spring Tulips Cards using Cutting Dies & Distress Oxide Inks | Scrappy Tails Crafts

Tulips are blooming at my blog today! I’m creating some fun spring cards–no coloring or stamping involved, just cutting dies from Scrappy Tails Crafts and Distress Oxide Inks. Even my sentiments are die cuts colored with Distress Oxides.

I’m featuring Scrappy Tails Crafts new Outlined Tulip dies. There are 14 beautiful dies in this set which cut out the tulips and stem as well as the outlines. I love this set!

I used colored cardstock and four different Distress Oxide Inks to color in these tulips. I love how bright and vivid they turned out. I’m ready for some bright, happy spring colors–I think we all are. I used the new Distress Oxide Ink called Kitsch Flamingo. I am loving this color! I also used Wild Honey, Wilted Violet and Lucky Clover.

Floral Cards, Not 2 Shabby

Bouquet of Happiness Slimline Card | Not 2 Shabby Shop

I’m back with another card design for the Not 2 Shabby Shop. Today I’m using their new stamp set called Bouquet of Happiness. The stamp features some gorgeous begonias and some really cute sentiments. I decided to pull out some watercolors to color in these flowers. My color theme comes from Pantone’s two new colors for 2021: Ultimate Gray and Illuminating. Basically, the colors are gray and yellow.

I used a piece of Arches hot press watercolor paper to emboss my images on using some VersaMark Ink and gold embossing powder. Then I pulled out my little set of Daniel Smith watercolors. I painted a flat wash of yellow, then started adding layers and shadows. After my work was dry, I used some colored pencils to add even more shading.

Next, I fussy cut my images leaving a white border around them. I used Trinity Stamps’ slimline die called Hip to Be Square to cut out a piece of yellow and gray cardstock. I then layered these two die cuts and adhered them to a piece of gray cardstock.

Finally, I attached my flowers to the card front with foam adhesive. I added a sentiment and some bubble beads to add some bling.

10 Cards, 1 Kit & Giveaway! | Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit | Love You Beary Much

Hello! Welcome to my blog. It’s been a while since I’ve produced a 10 Cards, 1 Kit video using Simon Says Stamp’s monthly card kit. I love their card kits, but I’ve been pulled in other directions lately. When I saw their January card kit called Love You Beary Much, I knew I had to get it and make up some Valentines with it.

Also, today is my birthday, so I’m giving away two $25 gift certificates to Simon Says Stamp. Floral Card Set | Spellbinders Clear Stamp of the Month | Trefoil Florals & Sentiments

Hello crafty friends! I have a very unique stamp set to show you today. I created a set of floral cards using Spellbinders Clear Stamp of the Month for February. This set is called Trefoil Florals & Sentiments. I had to look up what trefoil is and basically it’s a shape formed by the outline of 3 overlapping rings. It used in architecture. Inside these trefoil stamps are 4 different floral images–they’re so dainty and pretty! The set also includes a lot of sentiments.

Card #1: Red & White Roses Card

I started out by stamping the 4 different floral images several times. I colored them in with Gelly Roll Pens. For the white flowers I just added gray shadows with a Copic marker. After I finished all the coloring, I put the panels back in my Mini Misti and stamped them with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, and poured over some clear embossing powder. I melted the powder with my heat tool and the stamp lines turned glossy and slightly dimensional.

I fussy cut out all my images. If you get the Small Die of the Month for February, it includes a die that will cut these out–along with a new mini slimline die. I’m still waiting to get mine–I’m excited for this one!

All 4 of my card designs are basically the same. I popped all the trefoils up with foam tape and placed them in different arrangments on each card. I used bakers twine of each card as well.

10 Cards, 1 Kit | Spellbinders February 2021 Card Kit | Let Your Heart Soar

Hello, my crafty friends! Welcome. Today is release day for Spellbinders’ February Card Kit. It’s called Let Your Heart Soar, and this one hit it out of the park! Everything included in this kit is fabulous. My favorites are the hot air balloon dies, the 3D stickers, and the pattern paper. I created 10 cards with this kit, 2 of which are slimline cards. This kit provides you with everything you’ll need to create tons of happy mail.
