Spellbinders took it over the top this month with their Large Die of the Month Club. They’ve created an “essentials” set of mini slimline dies, and they are fabulous! You get 16 dies which includes a mini slimline envelope creator. It even includes a happy birthday die, so I created a birthday card using this set. Lastly, it includes some floral dies to decorate your cards!

The nested dies all have really cute etched details on them. Some have dot edges and some have the scallops. There is so much you could do with this set! It also coordinates beautifully with the Clear Stamp of the Month.

I used all the dies from this set and cut them out with the gorgeous new cardstock from Spellbinders. I layered them, and it created some fun dimension. I used the same cardstock for the flowers and added some pops of green with the leaves.

Using the envelope dies you can create two types of envelopes–a portrait and a landscape. You can also create two sized of these envelopes depending on what score line you fold down. The clear stamp of the month includes a pretty stamp that you can use on the flap of your portrait envelope to write out your return address.

This card was really fast and fun to put together. You could make up a bunch of them for your stash.

Hello fellow card crafters. Happy Friday! Today I get to show you the Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders. If you like the paper strips technique, then you are going to love this die set. The largest die cuts out 3 different sizes of paper strips that will fit on an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch slimline card; however, you can cut the strips down to any card size you want, of course. The set also includes 3 different sentiments and some fabulous decorative dies.

To create this card I cut out a lot of different colors of the new Spellbinders Color Essentials cardstocks. I cut out a lot so I have strips to make additional cards. I put some Stick-It adhesive on a 3 1/4 x 8 1/4 panel of white cardstock and started adding my strips. This adhesive is great because it allows you to reposition your cardstock if you need to. Once you have the strips where you want them, you can press them into the panel with a bonefolder, and they will stick tight.

I used the Happy Birthday sentiment die and cut it out with Poppy Field cardstock and backed it with Raindrop cardstock. I used the decorative dies to create circles around the sentiment and a couple of rainbows. To finish off the card I added some crystal gems.
