Hello crafty friends! I have a very unique stamp set to show you today. I created a set of floral cards using Spellbinders Clear Stamp of the Month for February. This set is called Trefoil Florals & Sentiments. I had to look up what trefoil is and basically it’s a shape formed by the outline of 3 overlapping rings. It used in architecture. Inside these trefoil stamps are 4 different floral images–they’re so dainty and pretty! The set also includes a lot of sentiments.
Card #1: Red & White Roses Card
I started out by stamping the 4 different floral images several times. I colored them in with Gelly Roll Pens. For the white flowers I just added gray shadows with a Copic marker. After I finished all the coloring, I put the panels back in my Mini Misti and stamped them with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, and poured over some clear embossing powder. I melted the powder with my heat tool and the stamp lines turned glossy and slightly dimensional.
I fussy cut out all my images. If you get the Small Die of the Month for February, it includes a die that will cut these out–along with a new mini slimline die. I’m still waiting to get mine–I’m excited for this one!
All 4 of my card designs are basically the same. I popped all the trefoils up with foam tape and placed them in different arrangments on each card. I used bakers twine of each card as well.
