Happy Friday, my crafty friends! Today is the Holiday Inspiration Blog Hop for Spellbinders! We are celebrating the Holiday 2021 products, and there are a lot of fabulous crafty, new items in the shop. Today, I’m featuring the Fall Traditions products.
I created a set of cards using the Falling Leaves Embossing Folder, the Autumn Leaves Etched Dies, and the Happy Turkey Day Etched Dies.

Card One
For my first card I used the Autumn Leaves Cutting Dies and cut them out with watercolor paper. I had so much fun coloring them in with Distress Oxide Re-Inkers. While my leaves were drying, I embossed another panel of the watercolor paper and ink blended on some Distress Oxide Inks. I cut a window out of this panel and popped it up with some foam tape.
I added a little bit of gold embossing on the edges of my leaves to add a touch of sparkle and then arranged them on the front of my card. The sentiment comes from the Fall Greetings Stamp Set.
Card Two
To color in the leaves for card two, I cut them out with more watercolor paper and sprayed them with Distress Oxide Sprays. That was such a fun, messy, lovely process. I highly recommend giving it a try. I embossed another piece of watercolor cardstock with the Fall Leaves folder, and this time I left is plain. I cut a window out of this panel and matted it with a piece of orange cardstock. I popped up this frame with foam tape and placed my leaves inside. The sentiment is, again, from the Fall Greetings Stamp Set. (This is such a fun set! All the stamps are so unique.)
Card Three
This one is my favorite of the set. I love this little turkey! I’ve been looking for a cute turkey image for awhile to make up some Thanksgiving cards, and this one fit the bill. It’s a smaller stamp set with a very good price point. I cut out the turkey pieces using some of Spellbinders Cardstock Essentials. I added a little bit of shading with some Distress Inks, and then glued them together. It was a very quick and easy process. I cut out a few ovals to create a spotlight for my turkey, and I, again, embossed a panel to put behind him using Portobello Cardstock. All my cards have a bow on them tied with Natural Burlap String–Perfect for fall time cards.
