Hi! I hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far. I’d like to share the latest card I created.
I used a stamp set from MFT called Pretty Poppies, and I wanted to add my own touch to the card, so I used a second generation stamping technique. I stamped my image onto a piece of scrap paper first and then onto my card panel.
The second generation image is lighter so that I can color over it with my colored pencils. I love being able to add my own touch to the cards I make. I love my Prismacolor pencil. It’s fun and relaxing to color when I find the time, my two kiddos keep me hoppin’.
Here’s my card video. I hope you enjoy it! You can watch it here or on my YouTube channel.
Here is a list of the supplies I used:
Card stock and ink were both from MFT: Poppy Dye Ink & and Poppy Card Stock
Prismacolor pencils :
Petals: Yellow Ochre 942,Poppy Red 922, Scarlet Lake 923 & Sepia 134
Flower centers: Yellow Orange 917, Sepia 134
Stems and leaves: Grass Green 909 & Apple Green 912
Background: Lt Yellow Green 991 & Light Cerulean Blue 904
The poppies card is Adorable. So cleaver how you made this card. The poppies are beautiful. The text on the background paper is a great addition to the card. Lovely sentiment.
