Pretty Poppies Card

Hi!  I hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far.  I’d like to share the latest card I created.

Poppies_Card_THUMBNAIL

I used a stamp set from MFT called Pretty Poppies, and I wanted to add my own touch to the card, so I used a second generation stamping technique.  I stamped my image onto a piece of scrap paper first and then onto my card panel.

The second generation image is lighter so that I can color over it with my colored pencils.  I love being able to add my own touch to the cards I make.  I love my Prismacolor pencil.  It’s fun and relaxing to color when I find the time, my two kiddos keep me hoppin’.

Here’s my card video.  I hope you enjoy it!  You can watch it here or on my YouTube channel.

  1. The poppies card is Adorable. So cleaver how you made this card. The poppies are beautiful. The text on the background paper is a great addition to the card. Lovely sentiment.
