Hello and welcome! Today I’m sharing a few techniques for making the stamps you have in your stash that are intended for A2 (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) sized cards fit on slimline cards. Slimline cards are all the rage lately, but a lot of our stamps were made for a smaller sized card. The stamps I’m using today fit perfectly on an A2 card but not so well on a slimline card. Card #1: Split Image Slimline Card
On my first card I’m using a beautiful stamp set from Trinity Stamps called Blooming Bunch. I colored it in with Copic markers and then die cut it using the coordinating die. To make this fit on a slimline, I cut the image in half. I adhered one piece to the bottom left side of my card and the other to the top right edge using foam adhesive to give it dimension. Make sure you adhere the largest of the two sides near the bottom. This will keep your card balanced and prevent it from looking top-heavy. I heat embossed the sentiment in the middle of the card with white embossing powder. I love the way this card turned out!

Card #2: Small Images Slimline Card
To create the second slimline card, I’m using a small stamp set from Picket Fence Studios called A World of Octobers. This is a very small but adorable set. To make this small set fit on a tall slimline card, I framed them out. I placed two images from this set in two separate windows, and I used the third window to frame my sentiment.
