Hello crafty friends. Today I get to show you some of the new products from the latest release from Scrappy Tails Crafts. The latest release is inspired by Shakespeare’s, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” and it is a gorgeous release! I created a couple of silhouette cards using the Fairy Silhouette Dies, and the A2 Cloud Cover Plate Die.
When I think of silhouettes, I think black cardstock or ink, but I wanted my silhouettes to be colorful and bright. So, for my first card I die cut the two fairies sitting together with some white cardstock, and I colored them in using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink. I also used some Distress Oxide inks to create my colorful backgrounds.
For card two I used gold embossing powder to heat emboss the fairy and some of the butterflies. To create the cloud frame, I used the A2 Cloud Cover Plate and cut it down. I wanted it to be a little bit smaller to sit my fairies on it and frame the sentiments.
