Sending Floral Wishes Mini Slimline Card | Spellbinders Clear Stamp Club | July 2021

I have another mini slimline card to show you all today! This A2 size is all I used to create, but I am having so much fun creating different sized cards–especially the mini slimline. The stamp set I used for this card is from Spellbinders; it’s their Clear Stamp of the Month for July! I love a great floral stamp, and this one is stunning! It’s called, “Sending Floral Wishes.”

The sentiments are fabulous, and it includes a stamp that you can stamp on the flap of your mini slimline envelopes to write out your return address.

To create my card I used the largest floral stamp and stamped it with white pigment ink onto a piece of Blue Spruce cardstock. I wanted to emboss it with white embossing powder, but I needed to color it in first with colored pencils–hence the white pigment ink first. The colored pencils would scrape off the embossed lines if I embossed it first.

After I colored it in, I positioned my panel back into my Mini Misti and stamped it again with clear embossing ink. I stamped it up a few times, and then poured over some white embossing powder and melted it with my heat tool.

I cut down my panel with a die from Spellbinders’ July Large Die of the Month set. I also cut out a piece of Wild Berry cardstock with a die from this set. The white and silver baker’s twine was a fun finishing touch because the scallops on the die cut panel held it in place so nicely.
