Hello crafty friends! I am loving the mini slimline card size lately, and Spellbinders is fueling that love this month with their mini slimline die clubs. The small die for July cuts out an ornate panel to put on your cards. There are 5 cutting dies that you can mix and match.
Here is a picture of them all laid out on my craft mat. The sentiment die included in this set says, “For You.”
I used the 3 slimline dies to cut out a beautiful panel with some brushed gold cardstock. I also used the Clear Stamp of the Month called, “Sending Floral Wishes.” It includes sentiments that fit perfectly inside the window die. I used the large floral stamp from this set and the sentiment that says, “wishing you an amazing day.”
I heat embossed these stamps using Antique Gold embossing powder, and then I colored in my flowers using Zig Brushes. Here are the colors I used:
Zig Brushes: Largest Flower – Light Carmine & Pink,
Small flowers – Tea Rose,
Leaves – Light Green & Green,
Centers – Yellow
I used Bristol Smooth cardstock for this. The Zig brushes blend beautifully on this paper!
