Welcome to my blog! Today I’m creating with Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System. This is the first time I’ve used it, and after playing with it, I wish I had tried this a long time ago. I love the beautiful results! The Hot Foil set that made me want to try his system is the Sweet Cardlets II–You are My Home. There are many sets in this release, but I really love all those darling little houses!!
Card One
On my first card I foiled on a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I wanted to color in the neighborhood scene with my Zig pens, and this is the perfect paper for watercolor pens. I allowed the scene to air dry, and then I cut it out with my paper trimmer. I popped it up off the black foiled frame with some foam pieces. The sentiments I also foiled with black foil. This is an A2 size card.
Card Two
On card two I used the separate little house foil plate and die. I foiled on colored cardstock this time. I used gold foil and it foiled beautifully each time. I adhered the houses in rainbow order up the card using foam adhesive behind the red house. I created a mini slimline card measuring 3 x 6.
