Hello! Thanks for stopping by! I have never used acrylics of any sort in my art or my cards, and today I’m trying out Jane Davenport’s Storytime Paint Pens called Wonderland. I love trying out new art mediums, and I really had fun with these pens. The set comes with 5 bold pens and 5 fine pens of the same colors. I love how smooth they go down on the paper, and I love that they look bold and bright on any color of cardstock you use.

Card #1: Doodle Flower Die Cuts Card
On my first card I began by doodling on kraft cardstock with these pens. I wanted some of the kraft to show through, but I added many layers of colors. The pens are opaque, so you can add lots of layers and the colors show up brilliantly. I then die cut them with a set of Spellbinders floral cutting dies which came in a previous card kit. However, use whatever dies you have on hand if you want to give this technique a try. I love the look of these flowers–so fun and bright!
Card #2: Doodle Flower on Black Cardstock
I drew in my flower with a white charcoal pencils on a piece of black cardstock. I then went over my lines with these pens. I added lots of dots and doodles, and I thoroughly enjoyed painting with these pens.
