Sweet Tooth Slimline Card | Not 2 Shabby Design Team Project featuring Stamping Bella & Trinity Stamps

Welcome! I hope you are all having a wonderful day. Today’s card is a chocolate themed card. I love this cute stamp set from Stamping Bella Oddball line called “Oddball with a Sweet Tooth.” The sentiment really spoke to me; it says “Sometimes to stop eating all the chocolate, one must first eat all the chocolate.” It’s a very funny and true sentiment. I pulled out my colored pencils for this card. I’m using my Faber Castell Polychromos pencils on a piece of Stonehenge white colored pencil paper. I love using this paper for my colored pencil work. It has a nice tooth to it. To get a smoother look, you could use Gamsol and a blending stump to smooth out your work, but I like the look of the colored pencil lines.

Faber Castell Polychromos Colored Pencils: Dress: Light Magenta 119, Middle Purple Pink 125, Light Red-Violet 135, Mauve 249;

Apron: Cold Grey II, Cold Grey III;

Skin: Light Flesh 132, Cinnamon 189, Brown Ochre 182;

Hair: Terracotta 186, Sanguine 188, Burnt Sienna 283. Light Yellow Ochre 183, Deep Red 223

I also used a set of slimline dies from Trinity Stamps to cut out the two panels for my card. I love creating slimline cards lately. Trinity Stamps make some really fun slimline dies. To create my chocolate covered striped panel I used a Trinity Stamp Slimline stencil and blended on some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink.
