Card #1: Hello Lovely Butterflies Card

May Blog Hop Photo 1

On my first card, I used the Stacked Decorative Edges to add some beautiful details on a piece of white card stock. I love how the blue card stock behind it really helps to showcase the design. The jar and butterfly images are from the All the Little Things stamp set. You can purchase this stamp set separately from the card kit. I used Copic markers to color in these images.

Copics: Jar: B00, B02; Butterfly 1: RV04, RV02; Butterfly 2: BG05. Y08; Butterfly 3: YR04, Y17

Card #2: Thank You Cat Card

I used All the Little Things stamp set and Stacked Decorative Dies again to create card number two. I adore the cat images for this stamp set! I colored in my cat with warm gray Copic markers to add shading.

Card #3: Oh Happy Day Rainbow Card

I used a lot of components from All the Little Things May kit to create this card. The rainbow and clouds are from the Die Cut Shapes pack. You can buy both the die cut shapes and the pattern paper from this kit separately. I love this piece of navy striped pattern paper. Again, I used one of the Stacked Decorative Edges to cut out the scallop on the pink card stock. I stamped the sentiment in between the blue stripes on the pattern paper. The butterflies come from a 3-D sticker pack from the kit.

Card #4: Pattern Paper & Die Cut Shapes Card

The pattern paper in this month’s kit is darling! I had to use this piece with the teacups and water pitcher on it. I added a piece of green card stock cut out with another Stacked Decorative Edge to distinguish the die cut shapes from the busy but cute pattern paper.

Card #5: Enjoy Today Butterfly Card

The kit also contained a pack of beautiful 3-D butterfly stickers. They are the star of this card. I used a Stacked Decorative Edges to cut out a piece of gold mirror card stock. This piece of pattern paper also has some gold foil detailing to it.

Here is my process video! You can watch it here or over on my YouTube channel in HD.

  3. Thx for sharing! I like all of these cards but the mason jar and butterflies is absolutely gorgeous. I have been subscribing to the Kit & Caboodle for over a year now and love the Spellbinders kits so very much. I’ve had to drop my subscription cuz I’ve been out of work but no worries. They give you so much value in each kit I still have plenty to play with!
