Spellbinders May Card Kit | 5 Card Projects | All the Little Things

Hello and welcome! I hope you’re having a wonderful day! The May card kit for Spellbinders is here, and I created five card projects with it. This kit is called All the Little Things, and it’s filled with lots of darling little things.

I love all the fun elements in this kit, but I especially love the stamp set–it includes the cutest cat and butterfly images! I also had a lot of fun with the dies. You get coordinating dies for the butterflies from the stamp set! I also really had fun with the unusual frame dies. This is another great kit from Spellbinders!

Card #1: Lovely Floral Card

For this card I used a flower sprig and butterfly die cut shape as my focus. To help my flower die cut really pop, I framed it using the frame dies and metallic gold paper. The pattern paper also has metallic gold detailing, and it helped bring everything together.

Card #2: Oh Happy Day Cat Card

I love this little cat–his expression just makes me smile! I stamped him on a piece of white cardstock and colored in some gray shadows and pink ears and cheeks with two different Copic markers. I wanted him to be a white cat so I could use this darling floral pattern paper behind him. I also stamped out one of the butterflies onto pink card stock and added shadows with another Copic marker.

Card #3: Off-the-Beaten-Path Card

This card is mostly made up of die cut shapes. I loved the tree die cut shapes! First I adhered down this darling piece of scenic pattern paper onto my card base. I also die cut an oval out of the yellow pattern paper with a Spellbinders oval die. This oval helped to spotlight my die cut pieces as well as help differential them from the green background. To me this card has a very Italian Countryside feel to it.

Card #4: Flowers & Stripes Card

I love the blue striped pattern paper, and I wanted to pair it with more florals. I used another flower die cut shape and then I added a flower dimensional stick on top of it. I decided to stamp out my sentiment in between the blue stripes.

Card #5: A Card for Card Crafters

The envelope with the flower popping out is my focal piece on this card. I thought it went perfectly with the die cut shapes of the stamps, ink bottle and pencil. I used another piece of patter paper to stamp out my sentiment onto. I really like the look of stamping in between the lines on my last card, so I did it again on this card.
