Floral Card Featuring Scrapping for Less’ Fairy’s Garden Pattern Paper & Gina K’s Whimsical Wildflowers Stamp Set

Hello everyone! It’s Jackie from Jackie’s Craft Table, and I’m so excited to be a special guest designer this December for Scrapping for Less!! The card I created features the gorgeous stamp set from Gina K Designs called, “Whimsical Wildflowers,” and the beautiful pattern paper from Scrapping for Less called, “Fairy’s Garden.”

I absolutely love creating floral cards, and I had a ball putting this one together. I chose one of the many beautiful flowers from the stamp set and colored it in with some Prismacolor colored pencils. I used flicking motions to add some texture to my flowers, and I left a white highlight in the middle of each petal–this really helps to make them pop.

I fussy-cut my flowers and leaves, attached them to my sentiment, and popped it up with foam tape. The pattern paper is what really pulls this card together. I love flowers and stripes together–they go together like peanut butter and jelly. I used a piece of the floral paper as well as a piece of the striped paper, and that’s what really added the magic to this card! I used some pink Nuvo Drops and some strips of metallic paper over my seams, and this card was complete! There is also a process video for this card below or over on my YouTube Channe in HD.
