Farm Friends Card using Copic Markers & Distress Ink

I’ve finally inked up these stamps from MFT called Farm Friends; they were released in February of 2017.  I’m going to be creating more cards with this set, but for today I’m using the tractor and the cart full of animals.

It was very fun and fast to color in these images with Copic Markers.  I used Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink to stamp these images because it is a Copic friendly ink.

I used Distress Inks to create the background for my images.  I lightly blended on Distress Inks to provide a soft impression of sky, sun and grass.  The mask I used was just a piece of scrap paper that I cut out using the same rectangle die that I used on my card panel, and then I taped it in place with some micropore tape.

When I was about to tape my images onto my card panel, I noticed that something didn’t look quite right–No one was driving the tractor!  Lol!  I stamped the little chick image from this set into the driver’s seat and colored it in with more Copic markers.

Once I adhered all my images, I used Glossy Accents on the wheels and left it to dry on my craft table overnight.
