Hi and welcome! I created another floral card today–I absolutely love creating cards with flowers. This card is for Altenew’s August Challenge. The Altenew stamp set I used is another one from Simon Says Stamp Masterpiece box. It’s called Floral Frame.
Below is the inspiration photo. If you’d like to learn more about this challenge you can click on the link here.
I stamped the rose image onto a piece of white card stock and pulled out my Prismacolor pencils to color it in. I used Gamsol to blend the colors together.
I used the vines that came in this set to encompass my sentiment. I was able to manipulate these images on my stamp press until they formed more of a circle.
The Mini Misti came in handy to stamp my sentiment inside the floral frame. I had to ink it up three times before it was dark enough for me.
I created my own pattern paper with some gray ink and this diagonal stripe stamp from MFT.
Here’s the video of how I put this card together. You can watch it here or on my YouTube Channel. Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy the video.
Here’s the list of supplies I used to create this card:
Prismacolors: Carmine Red 926, Scarlet Lake 923, Dark Brown 946, Apple Green 912, Peacock Green 927, Olive Green 911
Yet another great card and video Jackie!
