Desert Bouquet, Heat Embossed Card

Happy Monday, and welcome to my craft table! With all the flowers coming up in my garden, I decided to take inspiration from it and create a card covered with flowers. To add even more interest, I heat embossed the flower centers and the sentiment with gold embossing powder.

This was a quick and easy card to put together. I used a stamp set called Desert Bouquet from My Favorite Things. I stamped out the images using six different colors of ink. For the flower centers, I used Versa Mark ink and heat embossed them with Antique Gold powder from Simon Says Stamp. It added a lot of pop to the card.

While all my supplies were out, I decided to make up a whole set of these cards using different colors of cardstock to matte my flower panels.

Here’s how it all came together. Hope you enjoy it!

Here’s a list of the supplies I used for this card:

The cardstock I used were all from My Favorite Things–Biscotti, Daffodil, Orange Zest, and Pure Plum.
