Happy Birthday Wreath Card

I always like to have a seasonable wreath on my front door. What’s behind the door may be a disaster, but, by-golly, my front door looks fabulous! Lol! This build-your-own wreath stamp set from Avery Elle lets you create your own miniature wreath to send to a friend.Besides the color penciled in wreath, there’s a lot going on with this card: three different kinds of paper, faux stitched circle die cut window, heat embossed sentiment, and a twine bow.

Heat embossing is a magical technique to me; I love watching the powder melt and become shiny. It also adds texture to your card. The miniature wreath was fun to put together as well. So many possible ways to decorate the frame. I ended up using all the flowers I colored in and gluing them all around the wreath. You could also tie a small bow onto it.
